Sunshine Sugar's Premium Blend Molasses is a natural extract from raw sugar produced at Harwood Sugar Mill and Refinery, in northern New South Wales . This boutique consumer grade molasses is made from 100 percent Australian grown sugar cane.
Sunshine Molasses is a blend of blackstrap molasses and selected refinery streams to produce a more balanced flavour whilst retaining all of the natural goodness typically present in molasses. Sunshine Molasses appears black to reddish brown (when aerated) and the odour and flavour are typically strong of caramelised sugar with a hint of sweetness. The molasses is Certified Food Grade, subsequently suitable for distilling.
