PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is lightweight, shatter-resistant and food-safe, making it a practical alternative to glass for many applications.

Advantages

• Suitable for spirits up to around 95% ABV.

Considerations

• PET is excellent for short- to medium-term storage and transport.
• For premium presentation or very long-term ageing, glass is generally preferred.
• Keep PET bottles out of direct sunlight and excessive heat, as UV exposure can gradually affect both the bottle and the spirit.
