Oxyper - OXYGEN BREWERY CLEANER

Oxyper is a brand/type of stabilised sodium percarbonate — an oxygen-based powdered cleaner. When mixed with water, it releases hydrogen peroxide and sodium carbonate, which helps lift organic deposits, stains, yeast residue and other soils.

For brewing and winemaking equipment, it is commonly used to clean:

• fermenters and tanks
• kegs
• beer lines
• stainless steel equipment
• glass and many plastics

It is chlorine-free and breaks down mainly into oxygen, water and sodium carbonate, so it does not leave the chlorine-type odours or flavours associated with bleach.

A typical brewing-use concentration is around 0.5–1% solution, although the correct rate depends on the particular Oxyper grade/product and whether you're soaking, spraying or CIP cleaning.
