Citra Pale Ale

Style: Pale Ale: Moderate to heavy hop  aroma. Light golden straw. Slight haze due to high wheat content. Very light malt profile with medium bittterness

Suggested yeast: Morgan's Ale yeast,  Fermentis US05, Nottingham or White labs WLP001 (yeast is additional cost)

Malt content: 53% Pale and 47% Wheat

Hops additions include Citra at 10, 30 and 90 minutes

Mash temp 88C, Boil length 90 minutes, Gravity SG1059

  • Instructiosn:
  • Decant cube into clean and sanitised fermenter.  
  • Add 5 lires of water to bring volume to 20 litres.
  • Aerate, pitch yeast and add any additonal hops as desired.
  • Once Fermentation is complete bottle condition or keg.
