Weyermann® Sinamar® Colouring Extract 100ml (GLUTEN FREE)

This coloring extract has been used in the commercial industry for the last 100 years. Substitute this extract to gain color without the typical intense flavors associated with roasted malts.
MALT - HOPS - YEAST - WATER
To get the characteristic color and extract, SINAMAR® is carefully evaporated in a vacuum process, finely filtered and canisters and containers of different sizes are filled directly at 158°F - 167°F (70 - 75°C).
Due to this special treatment the taste of SINAMAR® is less bitter.
SINAMAR® causes no turbidity and remains pH stable.
|Suitable for all dark ales and lagers, both barley-based and wheat-based, including stout, Porter, and Dunkelweizen. Also for coloring spirits.
5ML to 25 litres of beer will raise colour by 10EBC
Add to the kettle or to the fermenter. 4 oz. will add 16 srm units to 5 gallons.
5 SRM is the difference between a pale blond beer and a dark golden beer. To turn a pale golden beer dark brown or almost black, add 3 to 4 ounces (approx 100ml) of Sinamar to 5 gallons. (19 litre)
Sinamar®: Made from dehusked Carafa® Special Roast II barley malt and is very dark in color. Extract value is 40-45 Plato°. Sinamar® has been de-bittered through a proprietary processes and does not cause turbidity. It is highly pH-stable and is an all natural product made without any additives.
Commercial application: Use 14g (11.9 ml) of SINAMAR® Color Malt Extract to darken 1 hl of beer or wort by 1 EBC
