Enartis Pure metatartaric acid is produced from food grade tartaric Acid. It is used for stabilising wine against tartrate precipitation. When added to wine, metatartaric acid prevents the growth of potassium bitartrate and calcium tartrate crystals, making the wine stable against tartrate precipitation.
