This hop is derived from Strisselspalt (French) hops, and English Whitbread Golding Variety (WGV).
The aroma is described as Earthy, woody and floral with hints of lemongrass, hay and some say Earl Grey tea.
Alpha acids 7.9% - 8/3%.
It is typically used as an aroma hop.
Made notable by the New Belgium Brewing Company in their French Aramis IPA where they combined Bravo, Czech Saaz and French Aramis to produce a refreshing summer drinking dry IPA.
