ibrew News update

Dear Home brewers, wine makers  and makers of something stronger!

Bett-A-Brew has just turned 30 years old and we couldn't let it pass without letting you know.

The humble beginnings of Bett-A-Brew Beer and Winemaking Supplies started out in a retail shop in Chirn Park on the Gold Coast in 1976 and to this day we are delighted to see many familiar faces from as far back as 1976 still calling in.

We love what we do and our decision to manufacture our own range of products is testimony to that.  In fact, many customers say that's the reason they keep coming back.  While nearly every other Australian home brew outlet has opted to simply buy in and sell on product, we've been passionate about carving a niche. Our exclusive range of products has grown to include Bett-A-Brew quality beer packs, Austro Vino wine, cider and port concentrates  and DrinkART ginger beer and imported German malt beer packs.

Nevertheless, manufacturing our own products has not caused us to take an insular approach, and as a result, we've brought many firsts to the Australian market with imports from afar afield as the USA, Germany, Sweden, Canada and Italy.

Some of our more notable and interesting imports include;
Conical stainless steel fermenters from U.S.A
Tap-A-Draft beverage kegs from U.S.A
Distillaton equipment and accessories from Widder laboratories, Germany
Prestige liqueur and spirit essences and turbo yeast from  Sweden
Buon Vino wine and beer filtration systems from Canada
Wine making equipment from Italy
Genuine Okanagan American Oak Barrels, cooper made from Kentucky/Missouri Oak
And stockist for Lallemande, Fermentis and SIHA Begerow (Germany) beer and
pure wine yeast cultures.

Despite turning 30, the only thing old fashioned about us is our service.  Everything else we do is market leading and the success of our website http://www.ibrew.com.au is a case in point.  Although contrary to most web approaches, every email or request we receive via our website is answered by a real person, not a computer, and because of this approach, we now service customers worldwide, and it's certainly very humbling to have many of them call into our shop while they've been in our part of the world. So, if you can't visit our shop personally, you will be pleased to know that our web presence is not a faceless click and each customer is personally served.  If you would like a quote for products delivered you can
use our online contact/quote form available on this link http://www.ibrew.com.au/html/contact/contactset.html or simply email jayne@ibrew.com.au for personal assistance.

Finally we wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for being a part of our 30 year success.  We hope you've enjoyed it as much as we have.

Happy Fermenting

Jayne and John
