Hand held models with automatic temperature compensation

Refractometers can be used to measure solution concentration and are applied throughout the food, agricultural, chemical and manufacturing industries.

The most common application is the determination of dissolved sugar solids in food products such as soft drinks, fruit juices, concentrates , and ripeness of fruit.
