THE 'FERMENATOR' TM Stainless steel professional quality equipment for the hobby or boutique winemaker and brewer. Stainless steel is extremely durable and without question the easiest material to sanitize. it is impervious to heat (well, up to 2000F anyway) won't shatter like glass, and won't discolour or harbour bacteria. The 'Fermenator' is packed with excellent features including easy to clean 'weldless' fittings which are removable for easy sanitizing. And unlike welded-in fittings, the 'Fermenators' fittings can be replaced if they get accidentally damaged. All the Fermenator fittings are high quality industrial fittings, they are not makeshift hardware store fittings. |

ARRIVED INTO STOCK NOW DON'T YOU WISH YOU PURCHASED A BLICMANN 27 GALLON CONICAL ..only with a Blichmann conical can you now get an extension to increase your brewing volume to 42 gallons Blichmann Engineering are always brewing up great new products! New for 2007 are casters for the Fermenator conicals, and an even larger Fermenator conical! This incredible new design leverages our extremely reliable lid sealing system to create a 15 gal MODULAR attachment to our popular 27 gal Fermenator conical....total gross capacity is 42 gal - perfect for a 1bbl batch size (31 gal)!! We've invested in special tooling to manufacture this weld-free extension and offer it at a competitive price! Already own an F3 model 27 gal Fermenator conical? An upgrade extension kit is available and is fully compatible! (may require drilling two 1/4" holes on earlier F3-27 models). Having the option to change "lids" means you can brew 20 gal and 31 gal batches with the same unit. Kit includes leg braces, 15gal extension, blow-off hose assembly with hose P-clips. You will reuse the clamp, seal, lid hatch etc. from your F3-27 conical. Also available as a complete 42 gal unit if you don't need the smaller capacity - the 27 gal lid is not included, so the cost is a bit lower. Includes everything as above except the 27 gal lid. Blow-off bucket shown in photo is for demonstration purposes and is not included. Shown with optional leg extensions.

Tempetature controlling at its best: Converting a freezer to a lagering freezer: The fermenator has been designed to fit into an upright freezer. We believe this is a much more cost effective solution than jacketed or solid state cooling.

OPTIONAL EXTRA: LEG EXTENSION KIT Bolt on leg extensions available for all Blichmann conicals to raise the fermenter higher ..excellent for gravity filling (picture flat lid model is now replaced with all domed lid models) The optional bolt-on leg extensions lift the Fermenator high enough to rack into a keg. Legs are heavy gauge stainless with aluminum bracing. |
OPTIONAL
EXTRA: TRI CLAMP BLOW OFF ASSEMBLY This tri-clamp blow-off assembly fits into the #7 stopper hole (replaces bung and airlock) on the lid. The blowoff assembly is actually compatible with ALL FermenatorTM conicals we’ve ever built! It will include an elbow, 1” barbed fitting, and a ∏” barbed fitting for CO2 pressurization of the unit for pumping the finished beer. |
OPTIONAL
EXTRA: CASTORS Heavy duty industrial
grade casters |
OPTIONAL EXTRA:
Stainless steel TRI CLAMP FITTINGS By popular request we have developed tri-clamp (sanitary) fittings for our full line of FermenatorTM conicals. These add a sleek professional look to the product. This completely weldless design includes a 1” bottom dump assembly complete with elbow, valve, barb fitting, cover plate, and all clamps and gaskets. The racking arm is a ∏” tri-clamp design, and also includes the barb fitting, cover and all clamps and gaskets. Unfortunately, units already sold cannot be retrofitted with the tri-clamp bottom dump and racking fittings since different size holes in the tank are required for the tri-clamp bulkhead fittings.

STANDARD FEATURES OF BLICHMANN CONICAL FERMENTERS:
there is a range of optional extras detailed below |
![]() |
STANDARD FEATURE with all Blichmann conicals lid hatch - easy sanitary access to your fermenting beer. Minimizes exposure of the fermentables to oxidation and bacterial contamination when dry-hopping or adding finings as opposed to removing the lid entirely. This generous size opening also makes it much easier to pitch yeast than pouring through the small stopper hole.

STANDARD FEATURE with all Blichmann conicals Bottom dump Easy to clean weld-free fittings: All fittings used for the bottom dump and rotating racking arm are stainless steel high quality industrial fittings, not make shift hardware store parts and pipe fittings. And unlike welded fittings, ours can be removed for easy sanitizing by sanitizer, boiling, autoclaving...whatever. And our competitor's welded-in fittings can't be replaced if they get accidentally damaged or wear out! Like tri-clover (sanitary) fittings, ours use a gasket too (in our case an o-ring) but since our fittings can be removed from the tank they are even easier to keep clean! Last, but not least, the weld-free fittings allow you to orient the dump valve in any position you want, not where it happens to end up when tightening a welded fitting....such as facing the rear of the refrigerator! |

STANDARD FEATURE with all BLichmann conicals Rotating Racking Arm That’s right! The rotating racking arm is standard equipment!! Just like the Craft Brewers huge conical fermentors. This feature allows you to start your siphon with the racking arm horizontal, and rotate it slowly downward until you just start picking up yeast sediment. Clearly the best and only way to siphon clear beer! And using the racking arm prevents wasting any beer or carrying sediment into your kegs which happens if you use the bottom dump to rack the beer. This exclusive design utilizes stainless flare fittings which can’t hide bacteria like compression fittings can |

STANDARD FEATURE with all BLichmann conicals Bolted leg system and fold away handle. New channel shaped legs offer improved strength and appearance. An exclusive welding process is utilized to install fasteners on the tank wall leaving the interior of the tank ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS and superior to TIG welded designs where weld distortion (rippling) is unavoidable. And the legs can be replaced in minutes if they are accidentally damaged! |

STANDARD FEATURE with all BLichmann conicals Domed lid Adds much needed capacity to the earlier 12.2 gal and 24 gal models for krausen head-room and also provides pressure capability for CO2 pumping of the finished beer or wine. The 7 gal model, having plenty of space for a 5gal batch, utilizes a flat lid for reduced height. ALL models are pressurizeable. |
