apple concentrate with Champagne yeast is $21.50 If you want to try the smaller 12 litre ferment first, choose a fermenter to match the size of the fermentation ie. 15 litre glass demijohn or 15 litre polyethelene fermenter..no larger than this. This is to avoid a large air space. Otherwise use your standard brewing fermenter and use 2 x 2 litre concentrates.

Summer Champagne Punch Recipe using Cider
Punch recipes are always a good stand by for summer entertaining. They often make a welcome substitue to stronger drinks and can be mixed with more or less alcohol to suit. This recipe originally called for 2 bottles of champagne however substituting DrinkARTSparkling Cider is an excellent cost saving alternative and the results are equally as good. |
INSTRUCTIONS In a medium size saucepan combine sugar and water. Bring to the boil over a moderate heat and simmer gently for 4 to 5 minutes until sugar has dissolved and the syrup has thickened. Remove from heat, Transfer to a large bowl and add pineapple juice. Just before serving add all remaining ingredients |
